Despite all the hardship that life gave me.I have realized that I am still lucky to be here in Masbate not living somewhat dynastys ago in China. Life is harder there.I guess I just have to make positive views of instances and to think life is a challenge than think life is a hell.....:roy:I have to learn many things just to pass in my dream university....I don't mean UP and I won't pass there anyway. The competition is tough and not for a dumb one like me....Well time to go...Muahhhhhhref="http://www.dolliecrave.com">

Facing The Reality

I just bought a make up kit in a nearby Chinese Variety Store and saw the same Chinese guy when I last visited it.My classmates seem to refer to him as a Taiwanese Guy but he isn't.My mom told me that the guy speak Hokkien in a Fujianese accent not in what they call Taiwanese.

At first,I thought he could speak a bit Filipino or English but I was wrong..From the way I interpreted his gestures, He could only understand Numbers and their value and could simply just respond whenever the saleslady says Kuya and say "Thank You" whenever a customer leaves.

My parents knew him eversince he opened a store few blocks away from our house. He seems to be nice - considering the geat deal of discounts to his fellow Tiong Kok Lang like my mom and Dad but as I pass my way to the counter, he already knew that I don't speak Chinese as he never tried to speak in front of me.Is it pure instinct or my mom told him?:babe:

When people ask me if I am Chinese,I would prodly say Yes but unfortunately,I don't really know if I am lying or not.I have a pure Chinese blood in me but Filipino is my citizenship in my birth certificate and I don't speak Chinese either.

So whats the point?I do believe I am sort of like Jasmine Trias or Sam Milby being some sort of a liar in being a Filipino, only that it is a different case.I am telling them that I am Chinese but the truth is,I really am not. There is even no trace nor identity proof except that I have a two-letter-lastname and I do look like some Koreans you see on TV.

Gosh...I do hope I could tell them that I am Chinese truthfully someday and I'll have a chance,I would go to Xiamen and learn what they call Hokkien and trace my roots.
